The transit authority needed durable shelters that could withstand Florida's severe weather while providing comfortable waiting areas for riders. Standard off-the-shelf shelters didn't meet their specific dimensional and aesthetic requirements.
Our Solution
We engineered and fabricated custom steel shelters with perforated metal side panels for ventilation, standing-seam roof systems for water management, and integrated bench seating. Each shelter was hot-dip galvanized and finished with a durable polyurethane topcoat.
The Results
Delivered 12 shelters on schedule with zero punch-list items. The shelters have withstood multiple hurricane seasons with no structural issues and continue to serve thousands of daily riders.
